Ty's Excema

Okay, so I'm posting about Tyler's excema(they are saying it is related to his allergy issues) to see if anyone has had any similar problems or things like this. So this was Tyler's face two weeks ago...
And now it looks soooo much better, just like a babies cheeks should look....especially his chubby cheeks so I can kiss them.

Isn't he cute.....he is the smiliest kid ever. Ok I got sidetracked from his cuteness....back to the excema. :) We got some anibiotics for his face because they said it looked infected and then we have been using some steroid hydrocortisone cream that works fabulously. The one problem is that you can't use it all the time because it is a steroid (we have used it twice now for 8 to 10 days each time). But as soon as we stop using it, literally the next day the red bumps come back. The first day there were just 3 bumps (look kind of like pimples) and then by the end of the day they were spread more down this cheek. I have been using Cetaphil cream which works great on the excema on his body, but it seems to be making his face worse or just not helping. His face is pussy...its wet if I kiss it or touch it. My doctor recommended coating him in vaseline after the bath, but seriously I don't really want an oily baby all day long. Any ideas, I would love to hear them...

Decorating the Tree

We decorated our Christmas tree a few weeks ago and it was so fun to see Jackson get so excited about it. I love this time of year but it has been extra special for Jeremy and I to see Jackson experience all of the holiday traditions for the first time. The excitement and innocence of a child is so precious; I love holidays just for that reason. And our little Tyler was such a good boy laying on the couch and staring at all of the lights. This was Jackson's decorating job... Lets just say the next morning the ornaments were secretly spread evenly around the tree. :)Our cute little boys after such a fun family tradition!

Tyler's Blessing

We blessed Tyler last Sunday and it was a fun day for our family. We started out the morning a little rough as Jackson seemed to understand something was going on and decided not to cooperate. It took both Jeremy and I twenty minutes just to get clothes on him. I honestly don't know if he has ever acted so naughty. It's interesting that kids can sense when somethings going on. The rest of the day went very well. Tyler couldn't have been more of a dream that day. He must have known mommy was a little stressed and decided to be extra good. We are so lucky to have Tyler and he has brought such a peace to our family. I am grateful to have Jeremy who holds the priesthood to be able to bless Tyler and the rest of our family. I'm sure lucky to have these 3 boys in my life. This was the only family picture we could get. Jackson wouldn't stop watching the movie for anything. He was sure a stinker this day, but luckily our sweet boy returned after a nap and some attention from mom and dad.
I can't tell you how much I am in love with this little guy. I didn't know if my heart could love another little boy as much as Jackson, but its amazing how your heart grows.
Two of the cutest little smiles I've ever seen....but I'm a little partial! :)

Halloween Day and Night

Halloween day we went to Gardner village with my sister Angie to see the witches. It was fun hanging out with my sis and enjoying the nice weather.

Jackson was scared to get too close to the witches, so mom had to sit with him to get a picture.

Halloween night we went trick-or-treating and made a few stops to see Grandma Burgon, the Crow cousins, Becky & Blake, and Grandma and Papa.

Jackson with his cousins...
Trick-or-treating at Aunt Tammys. Giving grandma Weichers a kiss for some candy. We utilized what we already had for costumes this year, Jackson was a basketball guy and Tyler was a baseball guy for Halloween. Kind of boring costumes but they were comfy and resourceful...and look how comfy Ty is on grandma!

Halloween Parties

Halloween is such a fun holiday and our family had such a great time. We went to a few Halloween parties (Allens, Hansens, and the ward trunk or treat). Here are some pictures from our holiday festivities...We went to the Allen's Adult Halloween party (except for Tyler and Cade) :). It was so much fun. We went as Hershey's Bars... I was plain milk chocolate and he was milk chocolate with nuts! We were lucky enough to have President Obama and the First Lady at the party! :) Thanks Branden and Kristi for such a fun night.

Jeremy and Jackson at the Hansen Halloween party decorating their sugar cookies.

Jackson helping dad carve our spider in the pumpkin.
Good job Jeremy on the pumpkin....ours is the spider on the right side!
Our basketball guy posing for a pic at the ward party. Jackson hated the headband, so we had to bribe him to keep it on for a few pictures - otherwise it didn't look like he was really dressed up.
Tyler didn't have much of a costume this year. We decided to save a little money and just put him in his "I love my mummy" shirt for his costume. Don't you love the floral couch background....gotta love the church's decor. This was the only family picture we could get... Jackson was having too much fun running around.

The Pumpkin Patch

This time of year is so much fun. It seems like there are so many things to do outside. I love fall and all of the beautiful colors. Jeremy and I love to go on drives and see all of the beauty from the changing leaves. We are sad to see that so many are already bare. We went to the pumpkin patch with jackson last week and he picked out some pumpkins for us.

Jackson had so much fun and his favorite part was definitely sitting on all the tractors. You should have seen the tantrum he had when we told him it was time to get off the tractor and go home. It was such a fun night and a fun tradition we will always do with our family. I love spending time with my 3 boys!!!

The Barnyard Boo

Last weekend we went to the Barnyard Boo at Thanksgiving Point with my sister and mom. It was a lot of fun and Jackson loved it. Tyler slept the whole time, so mom loved it too!Jackson loved feeding the goats the corn. He would hold it and just let them lick it in his hand. Saying "cheese" after the horse/wagon ride.Jackson on the pony ride. He wouldn't let my mom touch the horse. He had to do it ALL by himself. Oh we love our independent 2 year old! :)Jackson pumping his fist after throwing the hoops on the witches foot saying "score". He does this also while throwing clothes into the washing machine......score!Jackson with his balloon sword....thank goodness it popped before we left.
It was such a fun day and I loved hanging out with my sister and mom. Thanks mom for such a fun day!

Trip to the Dentist

We went to the dentist last week as a family. I hadn't been to the dentist for 3 1/2 years and Jeremy hadn't been for 3 years. Luckily Jeremy and I were cavity free and Jackson did well letting Dr. Evans count his teeth. He said his teeth looked very clean....that's good to know with his love of treats. :)

Showing off his clean smile! Thanks Dr. Evans - hopefully it won't be another 3 years til next time! :)

Tyler is 7 weeks...

Tyler is 7 weeks old today and getting so big (note the gut over the pants). He is my sweet boy and has been such a blessing to our family. The last couple months have been kind of rough but lately he seems to be doing better. Tyler has a milk, soy, and nut intolerance and so it has made it hard as he has been super fussy. With the adjustment of my diet he seems to be doing better. I can't eat much besides oreos, swedish fish, bagels, and chicken - but I guess I'll sacrifice anything for this little guy to be happy and healthy. :)

Jackson's new "cheeser"

So lately everytime we go to take a picture of Jackson he says "cheese" and throws out this same smile. It is literally in every picture, unless we take one and don't say to smile. I just love this little boy. He has done pretty good with his new brother, but we are exctied for the tantrums to lessen once he adapts a little more. :) Say cheese...

man you could check his dental work with this picture! :) There is so much personality in this little boy, I love it!

Jackson's 2nd Birthday!

So I'm a little behind on posting stuff, but I didn't want to forget my little man's 2nd birthday. We had so much fun with the Thomas themed party. Jackson absolutely loved his cake, presents, and all the attention he got that night. Here are a few pictures from the special day.
Jackson and dad with his new golf set from mom and dad before his party.
Playing with one of his favorite presents....his diggers!
Playing in his thomas tent. This was after cake, thus our topless little boy! We had to put this toy away because there wasn't enough room for more than 2 kids in it, but one of his favorites.

He's a little in awe of the fire, and ready to blow out his candle.

Eating cake with all of his cousins...

It was such a fun night for Jackson. Thanks everyone who came to celebrate with us and make Jackson's 2nd birthday such a fun memory.
