Pit Stop at Nauvoo

It took us 5 days to get to North Carolina (we took our time for our boys, but mostly me....I didn't know if I could drive all day being nauseous and sick) but on day 3 we stopped in Nauvoo for a few hours. It was a fun stop and wish we could have stayed longer. On the Nauvoo temple grounds. Such a beautiful temple. At the statue's of Joseph and Hyrum. Brothers are best friends...At the family games... At the grave of Joseph, Hyrum, and Emma Smith.Last stop was the Nauvoo store to get a cold root beer. Man it tasted great on such a hot day.

Saying Goodbye - Off to NC!

The night before we left for North Carolina a bunch of our family came over to say good-bye one last time. :( It was so sad for me to say good-bye to everyone.

Saying good-bye to Grandma Coleman. It was so hard to say good-bye to my parents. My boys didn't quite get it as I'm sure they thought we'd see them next week. :)Boston, Elsie, Jackson, and Ty. My kids love Angie's kids. Sweet Elsie and Jackson hugging :)Adrianna, Sophia, Taylor, Jackson, Arin, and Ty. We are sure going to miss The Crow and Rosevear cousins. :(When Jeremy and I drove away the next morning I don't think I've cried that hard in a long time. It finally hit us that we were driving away and not going to be back for a long time. We will miss Utah and all of our friends and family here.

Playing with cousins in Utah

We spent the next week or so playing with my family who lived in Utah and my brother's kids and sister's kids who were in town. We did lots of fun things like splash parks, Pirate's Island, Alpine Slide in Park City, BYU bookstore and creamery, and of course lots of playing and eating at Grandma and Grandpa's.Jackson and Lance are such good buddies. We hate that they only get to play for a few weeks a year. :(Most of the kids got lucky that the lady at the ticket station gave all of the cousins a sword and eye patch even though they all didn't have enough tickets to buy them.Arrrghh!! The kids giving their best Pirate growl. :)Lots of my family at the Alpine Slide in Park City. This was so much fun!On the tram on the way up. It was a little nerve racking having my boys on the tram with us. I hardly let them move :)Mom and Ty before we went down the slide. Ty LOVED it!Jackson and Dad at the top of the slide....so excited! At the bottom, and asking to go again!Jackson and Ty wanted BYU Jimmer jersey's like their cousins. Earlier that day we went to the creamery and bookstore. They only had them in Jackson's size so Ty got a t-shirt. Jackson and Lance had so much fun playing this week.Jackson loves his cousin Josh. They've become such great friends. All three singing "teach me how to Jimmer".We had such a great week playing with my family. It was sad to say good-bye to them. Jackson got teary-eyed saying good-bye to both Lance and Josh. :(

Expanding

We are excited that Jackson and Ty both get to be big brothers now. We are expecting a baby January 12, 2012. I am about 10 weeks and have been sooo sick and tired. The last month has been a hard one, but we are still excited. Moving was pretty miserable being sick and tired, and even traveling was pretty hard. You'll notice I wasn't in much pictures because I didn't ride many of the rides in fear of throwing up all over everyone. :) Oh the joys of pregnancy...

Travel time - Disneyland Day #2

My boys were so excited to be going back to Disneyland for a second day. It really is the happiest place on earth for an almost 5 and 3 year old. The classic family pic...
Now with Grandma Burgon...
My boys were excited to see Minnie Mouse. I was surprised Ty wasn't afraid of all the characters.Jackson and Dad went to the ride Soarin' over California, and since Ty wasn't big enough we went and saw Mater and McQueen. Ty loved it...All the boys on the rocket ride. Ty was so excited for this ride.Dad and Ty on the cars...Mom and Jackson on the car ride. Mom did the pedal and Jackson took the wheel. He's a crazy driver, I'm a little nervous for when he turns 16 :)At the end of the night we went to the light show World of Color. That was a fun way to end our last day at Disney.

Ty was so funny, he would freak out every time Shamu jumped. Then we went to the Dolphin show. So fun!The Cat and Dog show. My boys loved it, even thought we got there a little late and only saw half of it.Waiting for the Sesame Street 3D movie. Such cute studs...Another great day....now tomorrow is another day at Disneyland.

Travel time - Disneyland Day #1

We drove on to California with Jeremy's family....Becky and Blake joined us in St. George and Tammy and John went back home since they had just done Disney World the month before. Funny that we went on this vacation with Jeremy's family, but I don't have hardly any pictures with anyone so you wouldn't know that we did. :) I need to be better at getting group pictures and not just of my kids.

Our first day at Disneyland. The boys were so excited. So funny, they couldn't even see, but still smiled... :)Waiting in line is the hardest part... I only have 2 pictures of cousin Sophia, and she's not even looking in this one. :)On the train...Saying hi to Pluto. It was fun to see Ty's face just calculate meeting all these characters. So are they really real?Meeting Mickey Mouse! My boys love cars! The parade was Ty's favorite part. He just sat in awe, waving to all the characters. Captain Hook grabbed his nose and he was so excited he came over to him. He kept saying "the pirate got my nose".Such a fun day! Now tomorrow is Sea World...
