Christmas Night at the Weichers

We went to my parents house Christmas night for the Weichers Xmas party. We all had so much fun....especially the kiddos. They love anytime they get to play with cousins. I didn't take any pictures, except for present time. Both of my boys got Leapsters from Grandma and Papa. So fun...They they both got a R/C truck. Thanks Grandma and Papa!!!Jackson was so excited for this HUGE monster truck!Such a fun Christmas day! Me and Jeremy got a Blendtec blender from my parents. I can't wait to start making smoothies. Thanks again Mom and Dad!

Christmas Morning

Jeremy and I got home last night from a fun Xmas Eve, and then had the rest of the night to help Santa wrap pretty much ALL of the presents! We got home and both of our stomachs were hurting. Jeremy kept saying he felt like he was going to throw up. So while I am wrapping, Jeremy is sitting by the white thrown and eventually throws 5 or 6 times and then feels much better! So after I finish pretty much all of the presents, I start to feel really sick too. I end up joining him and throw up 7 to 8 times and having the big "D" through the night til I have not one ounce of liquid in me. We figured we had food poisoning since it was pretty violent and we felt better after. What a fun way to start Christmas, eh? We were so nervous our kids were going to throw up through the night, and then they'd be sick on Christmas, but they never did. Just Jeremy and I were the lucky ones I guess. We were both exhausted, but in the morning our kids were so excited Santa had come.....so Christmas went on as usual. :)

The boys looking down at what Santa brought. Of course I didn't catch the first look.....this was a little staged. :)The boys found their stockings first. Jackson loved his new sippy and of course the skittles. :)Santa brought the boys pillow pets...We open presents youngest to oldest.....and yes, I'm the oldest! The boys specifically asked for Geo Trax trains for Xmas, I guess they were good this year!!!! Thanks Santa! The boys opened together two big boxes of the rest of the GeoTrax stuff Santa got from the Eckel house. Thanks sis!Dad's Utah jacket in a medium (he need's an XL, but they didn't have any more left), so it looks a little small.....but we'll get the right size after Christmas.Mom got new " sterling silver - fake diamond" earrings to replace her $3 ones. :)Dad surprised our family with a "family" gift. He said he decided to splurge because he just found out he received a scholarship from his program (more on that in a future post). Dad got NBA jams, Jackson got Batman, Ty got Mario Cart, and mom got Just Dance. Thanks Dad!!!Fun morning! Man, we must have been good this year....and spoiled! Dad is pooped on the couch......long night, now time for a nap!

Playing in the Snow

We had a big storm and the boys wanted to help dad shovel. We ended up playing for a bit, making a snowman, and then going across the street and try out sleds out down the hill. The boys were in heaven...and mom and dad had fun too!

Riverwoods with Friends

We went to the Riverwoods in Provo with some friends. They were giving free wagon rides during Christmas time. It was lightly raining, but the kids didn't seem to care. They just love being outside, especially when friends are there. On the wagon ride....Jackson had to sit by Josh.Santa was out for the night, but the kids still had fun in his house! Can't believe we "mostly" got all of the kids to stand still for a group picture!

Ugly Sweater Party

Today was the last day of finals for the fall semester, so we celebrated with an Ugly Sweater Party with some of our MBA friends. We had sooooo much fun, and loved seeing all the great sweaters. :) We were going for cousin Eddy and Catherin from Christmas Vacation.
Luke and John, for sure were ugly....I mean their sweaters, of course. :)They guys chillin' on the couch, while the girls were eating in the kitchen.
Definitely some of the winners. Holly embellished both John's sweater and her shirt. It was awesome, she gets extra points for doing it herself.Close up of cousin Eddy in a cut turtleneck to look like a "Dicky" and a see-through woman's sweater! I only found an ugly turtleneck for me...but we tried! :)I wish we took more pictures of people's sweaters, but I was busy doing the food and chatting of course. Every inch of our tiny apartment was crammed with people, but it was so fun to see everyone before we all left for Christmas break. We have such a great group of friends in the MBA program.
