Christmas Morning

Jeremy and I got home last night from a fun Xmas Eve, and then had the rest of the night to help Santa wrap pretty much ALL of the presents! We got home and both of our stomachs were hurting. Jeremy kept saying he felt like he was going to throw up. So while I am wrapping, Jeremy is sitting by the white thrown and eventually throws 5 or 6 times and then feels much better! So after I finish pretty much all of the presents, I start to feel really sick too. I end up joining him and throw up 7 to 8 times and having the big "D" through the night til I have not one ounce of liquid in me. We figured we had food poisoning since it was pretty violent and we felt better after. What a fun way to start Christmas, eh? We were so nervous our kids were going to throw up through the night, and then they'd be sick on Christmas, but they never did. Just Jeremy and I were the lucky ones I guess. We were both exhausted, but in the morning our kids were so excited Santa had come.....so Christmas went on as usual. :)

The boys looking down at what Santa brought. Of course I didn't catch the first look.....this was a little staged. :)The boys found their stockings first. Jackson loved his new sippy and of course the skittles. :)Santa brought the boys pillow pets...We open presents youngest to oldest.....and yes, I'm the oldest! The boys specifically asked for Geo Trax trains for Xmas, I guess they were good this year!!!! Thanks Santa! The boys opened together two big boxes of the rest of the GeoTrax stuff Santa got from the Eckel house. Thanks sis!Dad's Utah jacket in a medium (he need's an XL, but they didn't have any more left), so it looks a little small.....but we'll get the right size after Christmas.Mom got new " sterling silver - fake diamond" earrings to replace her $3 ones. :)Dad surprised our family with a "family" gift. He said he decided to splurge because he just found out he received a scholarship from his program (more on that in a future post). Dad got NBA jams, Jackson got Batman, Ty got Mario Cart, and mom got Just Dance. Thanks Dad!!!Fun morning! Man, we must have been good this year....and spoiled! Dad is pooped on the couch......long night, now time for a nap!
