Decoratating the tree

We decided to officially get ready for Christmas and decorate the Christmas tree. The boys loved helping...but don't tell them I moved most of their ornaments they placed once they were in bed. :)

Jackson's Thanksgiving Program

For Jackson's preschool Thanksgiving program they could be a pilgrim or an Indian. We chose pilgrim as we figured most would do Indian (and he did end up being the only pilgrim). He was a little hesitant to wear Ty's sweats, but I thought it turned out pretty good if I say so myself...Jackson loved the hat I made and kept it safe in his room for a long time and wouldn't let anyone play with it. :)

Some bath nights are stressful, and some are just fun. Something about a bath that makes them look so sweet! :0

Halloween 2010

For Halloween my boys of course had to be superhero's. So Jackson chose superman and Ty chose Batman! Here is Jackson with some of his friends at his pre-school Halloween party. On the way home from preschool. Of course Ty had to dress up as Batman since Jackson got to dress up. :)We had a MBA Halloween party. Here are some of our best friends going Grease...Natalie, Patrick, and little Ava.Don't mess with Lori! She gonna get your husband... :)Talk about a cute couple. Hopefully in 20 years it will happen! :)My superhero boys waiting patiently in line to play games.Superman dad helping his boys play the games. Nice undies boys (Ty has a black pair on too, but not as easy to see with his black sweats)! My 3 underwear superhero's! Too cute...Our little family at the party. The superhero's and don't really know what I was.....Spider-woman with a tu-tu!Trick-or-Treating...

Bear Lake with Friends

We went to Bear Lake with a few other couples from the MBA program. Jeremy's brother has a cabin up there so we got a good discount and it was fun to just hang out with some friends for a few days. We played at the park, went on walks, ate lots of good food, watched movies, played games, and then ate some more. We also went to the beach (even thought it was pretty cold) to let the kids play in the sand and see the water. Here's our little family at the beach.Ty loved playing with all the little seashells. The girls (minus Nat, as she was in the car with sleeping Ava)The boys (minus Patrick) :)Some of the cute kids holding piles of shells. The kids completely focused on the movie while the mama's made dinner. The dad's also focused on the movie (except for Ben) while the mama's made dinner.Holly made sugar cookies with the kids. They LOVED it! The cutting, decorating, and especially the eating part. The 3 superman's making cookies. My boys usually are dressed the same or similar, and not because I make them, but because once one of them chooses spiderman, superman, or batman, then the other one has to wear it too. Luckily Josh had a superman shirt too, so we had 3. :)The next day was batman! The sweet Ava princess between 2 batmans! My boys LOVE Ava. She is like their little sister. The big kids...Holly is the best at always doing little activities for the kids. The dad's went golfing so the mom's did play-do with the kids. (doesn't seem so fair to me, we'll get a GNO later for it) :)We took a picture of the group with Lisa's camera (so we didn't have to do 5 camera's all with an automatic timer), and I forgot to get that from her. But we had so much fun with these families and hope to have more trips in the future. Here's our little fam right before leaving.

My BYU Girls Weekend!

Every year me and my freshman BYU girlfriends plan a 'Girls Weekend' getaway. There are 12 of us and this year 11 of us went (Mariah was home having baby boy #3) to New Port Beach. We missed her greatly, but the 11 of us had a great time and had her there in spirit. I didn't take lots of pictures because we have a professional photographer in the group(Elizabeth) so she did most of them. It was such a great break. Its never long enough, but it reinvigorates us to be better moms and wives once we get back. We got mani-pedi's, ate lots of good food, went to the beach, shopping, and ate some more. I miss these girls already. The first night Elizabeth and Rachel gave all the girls matching t-shirts they made. Here we are at the beach wearing them...Me and Shauna before dinner. She was my freshman suite-mate in David John Hall.We had to get two tables at dinner so we didn't have to wait 2 hours. Here is half of us...Sadly, that's all the pictures I took of this trip. We mostly sat around and talked, laughed, and talked. Which is what makes these trips so fun. :) Til next year!

Our first babysitting swap!

We started a babysitting swap for every Friday night with 3 other families. We all have 2 kids about the same age and 7 of the kids are boys, but Josie holds her own with the girls. :) This night we only had 6 kids, but our house was pretty crazy for the 4 hours. We are excited to now have 3 weeks of free babysitting. :) The kids have so much fun and look forward to every Friday night with their best buddies!

Ty-Ty turns 2!

Tyler turns 2 today. For his birthday we started out the day by taking him to breakfast at Magelby's Fresh for unlimited french toast (yum....so good). That night we did presents with just our little family and then had some cupcakes and ice-cream. I sure love that little 2 year old.A few days later we did a big birthday party with all of our family. Ty had so much fun with cousins and grandma's and grandpa's. Here's Ty playing soccer at his party.I felt bad that I had made Jackson's first 3 birthday cakes, but didn't make Ty's first birthday cake (we were moving to Provo). So I felt I had to make one for Ty. It was so hot that day that the frosting was melting and wouldn't stay, but at least I made him a cake! :)Jackson was so excited for Ty to get Hungry Hippos! Thanks family for coming to celebrate Ty and his birthday. He had such a fun day, and we just adore that little boy soooo much!
