Jackson is 5!

I can't believe my first baby is 5. He has been such a joy to Jeremy and I. He is such a great brother to Ty....these boys are best friends and I love it. Here they are anxiously awaiting Jackson's presents from mom and dad, grandma's and grandpa's, and aunts and uncles.Jackson loves Iron Man! Thank you Crows... Jackson loved his little semi truck! Anything trucks, cars, and superheros! Thanks Burgons...Jackson's excited to learn how to read with this Tag Leap Frog pen and books. Thanks Grandma and Papa Weichers...Jackson got some fun clothes and this recordable book from Grandma Burgon. Its so fun that anytime he misses his Grandma Burgon he can open this book and hear her voice. Thanks Grandma Burgon...Ty gave Jackson a Finn McMissile car. Jackson loved the Cars 2 movie and has been obsessed with secret agents ever since! Thanks brother Ty-Ty...Jackson opened his eyes and he see's his new Cars bike! He was very excited to finally get a bike that fit him. Mom's excited we finally live at the end of a cul-de-sac for him to ride it in.Mom didn't go all out with a cake as he wants a Cars 2 cake for his friend birthday party that he'll have in a few weeks. Chocolate cake is still yummy even if it doesn't look fancy :)We had a fun birthday party with just our little family. We missed celebrating with Grandparents, Aunt and Uncles, and cousins. Thanks to all of those that sent presents to Jackson to help make him feel so loved and special!

We're adding a GIRL to our House full of Boys!

Yeah, we are so excited to be having a girl!Here I am at 16 1/2 weeks (that 1/2 is important when your preggo). So happy to finally get a girl!

Our new house!

We moved into our new house in Huntersville, North Carolina. We are just renting this house and actually had never even seen it before the day we met the landlord. Some friends of ours that did a house hunting trip looked at it for us and we figured it would work for a year or so until we decided if we wanted to buy or keep renting. We were pleasantly happy with the house. It isn't our ideal perfect house, but it is great for us right now. One of the big reasons we loved this house was the backyard. Flat, fully fenced, and a playset. My boys haven't had a backyard for 2 years, and never a fenced yard. It is really hot so we may not play outside for a few months, but I'm sure we'll enjoy it once it cools down.I'll post more pictures (for family that is asking) of our house and area we live once we get moved in and settled.
