And now it looks soooo much better, just like a babies cheeks should look....especially his chubby cheeks so I can kiss them.
Isn't he cute.....he is the smiliest kid ever. Ok I got sidetracked from his cuteness....back to the excema. :) We got some anibiotics for his face because they said it looked infected and then we have been using some steroid hydrocortisone cream that works fabulously. The one problem is that you can't use it all the time because it is a steroid (we have used it twice now for 8 to 10 days each time). But as soon as we stop using it, literally the next day the red bumps come back. The first day there were just 3 bumps (look kind of like pimples) and then by the end of the day they were spread more down this cheek. I have been using Cetaphil cream which works great on the excema on his body, but it seems to be making his face worse or just not helping. His face is pussy...its wet if I kiss it or touch it. My doctor recommended coating him in vaseline after the bath, but seriously I don't really want an oily baby all day long. Any ideas, I would love to hear them...
